Leather work jacket made by "Sejson Malung" in Sweden around the 1950s. This is a Swedish vintage work leather jacket that we have been collecting for a long time. Sejson Malung seems to have operated with a small workshop like a domestic industry and about 8 employees.


This style of work leather jacket is thought to have been manufactured from the end of the 1930s (although it is estimated) until the 1970s by changing the leather with the same shape. It is manufactured by quite a number of manufacturers, and famous ones include "Sejson Malung" and "ANBRO MALUNG". If you look at the labeling of many of these products, you can see that they are made in Sweden.


Some of them were previously used in the Swedish Army, and some were previously received. This individual, which seems to have been used for military purposes, had the mark of the Swedish military stamped inside the pocket, and had a manufacturer label meaning military use.


However, a product label that says it is for military use cannot be used to conclude that it is a supplied product.


If it's not a government-issued label, it's possible that it's just a military-style jacket with the word military in the name of the product. On the other hand, the individual with the Swedish military markings stamped inside the pocket flap has never been issued for military use, and was actually used as a jacket for civilians and military personnel.


may mean The jacket itself is still in the process of research, but in the past I have bought more than 50 similar leather jackets, but the country of production is Sweden. I have not seen a jacket labeled as made in France.


Most of the leather used for this style of work jacket is goatskin, but this jacket also uses Getskinn goatskin leather. The leather condition has a very soft texture. The pocket flaps have creases due to storage, but there is no problem with the strength of the leather.



The color has a brown color finish that is often found in older items. The lining is also made of a fabric with a classical texture.

1950年代ごろのスウェーデン製　"MASENS"社製のレザーワークジャケット。当店では以前より蒐集してきたスウェーデン製のヴィンテージワークレザージャケットです。


このスタイルのワークレザージャケットは1930年代の末期（推定ですが）から同じような形状でレザーを変更して、1970年代ごろまで製造されていたと思われます。かなり多くのメーカーで製造されており有名なところではSejson Malung社、ANBRO MALUNG社製などがあります。これら多くの製品のラベル表示をみると、生産はスウェーデンであることが分かります。一部はスウェーデン陸軍において、使用されていたと思われる個体も以前に入荷しました。この軍用に使用されたと思われる個体には、ポケット内部にスウェーデン軍のマークが刻印されていたり、軍用を意味するメーカーラベルが付いていたりしました。


しかし軍用と書かれた製品ラベルは、それをもって支給品と断定することはできません。官給品支給のラベルではない場合、ミリタリースタイルのジャケットとして製品の名称にミリタリーの文字が使われていたに過ぎにない可能性もあるためです。一方でポケットフラップの内部にスタンピングされたスウェーデン軍のマーキングのあった個体も、軍用として支給された例は未見で、実際には民間出向者や軍属などが使用するジャケットして使われたことを意味するのかもしれません。ジャケット自体はリサーチの途上ですが、過去に50着以上同型レザージャケットをバイイングしていますが、生産国はスウェーデンです。フランス製とラベル記載されたジャケットは未見です。


このスタイルのワークジャケットに使用されるレザーは多くがゴートスキンですが、このジャケットもGetskinn、ゴートスキンレザーが使用されています。レザーコンディションは非常に柔らかな質感になっています。ポケットフラップなどは保管に伴って折れ目がありますが、レザーの強度に全く問題はありません。

カラーはブラックカラーフィニッシュが施されています。ライニングはモスグリーンのクラシカルな風合いのある生地が使用されています。



レザーのコンディションは良好です。柔らかく着心地の良いレザー。フロントはダブル、袖にボタン、バックにサイズアジャスターベルトがボタンで調節できるようになっています。バックには特徴的な金属金具を用いたサイズアジャスターがあります。差し込み方式でサイズを調節するためのパーツです。
