N-1 Jacket (N-1 Deck Jacket) – Circa 1943 Model

A brown-colored early model (or perhaps it is fair to call it that?) featuring specifications similar to the blue N-1 jacket.

The fabric used is the standard "Jungle Cloth."
Compared to later models, the alpaca lining in early N-1s features straighter fibers that are more prone to shedding, and the dye appears darker. While the alpaca is less durable than the highly resilient (and warmer) gray alpaca found in later versions, it possesses a unique charm characteristic of these older models.


The N-1 system was designed to be worn as a set comprising a jacket, trousers, and a (fabric) helmet. It features standard specifications, including a TALON zipper and eyelets for size adjusters at the hem; however, the original drawstrings are missing. The lining and collar are made of alpaca in a brownish-gray hue. The alpaca shows relatively little shedding and is in good condition.


The "USN" marking, indicating U.S. Navy ownership, is present on the chest.


The label bearing the Navy contract number is attached. The zipper is in excellent condition and functions without issues.

There is absolutely no shrinkage from washing, so the fit is more generous than that of typical used items.

The original zipper is present but is currently broken. We can repair it using an authentic period-correct zipper after purchase.

ブルーカラーのN-1ジャケットと同様の仕様をもつブラウンカラーのアーリーモデル（と言ってもよいでしょうか？）

使用される生地は通常ジャングルクロスです。
初期のN-1は後年のモデルに比較するとアルパカの仕上がりは直毛で抜けやすく、染色も濃いめの印象です。後年のグレーカラーの弾力性に優れた（保温力も）アルパカよりも脆弱ですが、古いモデルならではの魅力があります。


ジャケット、トラウザース、ヘルメット（布製）のセットで着用する設計のN-1システム。各部の仕様は通常通りで、TALONジッパーが使用され、裾にはサイズアジャスター用アイレットがあります。専用のドローストリングスは欠損しています。

胸には米海軍所有表記のUSN表記があります。


海軍コントラクトナンバーが記載されたラベルが付属します。

ジッパーはオリジナルの状態で付属しますが、ブロークンの状態です。お買い上げ後に弊店で実物ジッパーを使用して補修が可能です。
