Vintage Swiss made GF case watch from the brand "MONDIA DE LUXE"

A miracle watch that I bought from the same watch shop together with a rectangular watch from the same brand.

Gold plated case, large case.

At that time, sizes of around 30mm-34mm were mainstream, but this watch has a big case of 37mm.

Along with the impressive case, the biggest feature is the aged dial. The dial, which was originally white or silver, has changed into a stunning tropical dial due to the paint, materials, and usage environment at the time. The center has darkened to a cafe au lait color, and the dial itself has deteriorated like a stone.

The lettering of the brand name and model name remains clearly in black.

The case is made thin due to the hand-wound movement.
The back cover is also noteworthy as it is a screw back.

It is an elegant dress watch, but its robust specifications are also attractive.

The strap width is 18mm. The belt comes with a 20mm ostrich strap.

It runs for over 24 hours when fully wound. The time error is very small, at about 1 minute, so it is being sold in its current condition.

The large case gives an elegant look to your wrist in midsummer, and exudes a tropical atmosphere.

The charm of this watch will be apparent from autumn to winter.

奇しくも同じ時計店から同じブランドのレクタングラー時計と一緒にバイイングした奇跡の1本。

ゴールドプレートケース　メッキされた大型のケース。

この時代、30mm-34mm程度のサイズが主流であったのですが、この時計はビッグケースの37mm。　

迫力あるケースとともに最大の特徴がエイジングされたダイヤルです。もともとホワイト、もしくはシルバーであったであろうダイヤルは塗料や素材、当時の使用環境によって見事なトロピカルダイヤルに変化しています。中央付近は色濃くカフェオレ色のように変色し、ダイヤル自体もストーンのような劣化が起こっています。

ブランド名やモデル名のレタリングはブラックではっきりと残っています。

手巻のムーブメントの関係から薄く作られたケース。
裏蓋はスクリューバックである点も注目です。
エレガントなドレスウォッチですが、堅牢な仕様も魅力です。


ベルト幅は18mm。ベルトは20mmのオーストリッチのベルトが付属します。

動作はフルに巻き上げて24H以上稼働します。時間の誤差も大変少なく1分程度の誤差となっておりますので現状のコンディションでの販売です。

大きなケースは真夏の腕元をエレガントに演出し、トロピカルな雰囲気を漂わせます。

秋から冬にかけてもこの時計の魅力が発揮されるでしょう。
