AN-J-3A jacket.
This jacket was considered as a common equipment for the Army and Navy, but in fact it was a flight suit used only by the Navy.

The contractor is MONARCH, famous for manufacturing the A-2.
The leather is goatskin. It has a beautiful patina.
The front comes with an UNKOWN patch and a leather name tape.

The zipper is TALON, but it was originally made of brass, so this item was replaced. In addition, there was a tear in the upper part of the lining, so it was repaired using rayon lining from an old M422A.

The lining was repaired by our shop, and the zipper was replaced from an old era. The stopper at the top of the zipper is a fixed type and is out of date.
It works perfectly, but it is not fully original.

The knit parts are original and have some moth holes, but are in good condition.

The leather is in good condition.
There is a stitch out on the right shoulder.
We can repair it at our shop, but it does not interfere with wearing it at the moment.
The AN-J-3A has a "US" marking on the rear of the collar.

AN-J-3A ジャケット。
陸海共通装備として検討されたジャケットですが、実際は海軍のみが使用した飛行服です。

コントラクターはMONARCH 　A-2の製造で有名です。
レザーはゴートスキン。見事なパティーナがみられます。
フロントにはUNKOWNパッチ、レザー製のネームテープが付属します。

ジッパーはTALONですが、本来は真鍮製のため本品は交換されています。また、ライニング上部に破れがあったため、古いM422Aのレーヨンライニングを使用して修復を行っています。
ライニングの修復は当店の作業、ジッパーは古い時代の交換となります。ジッパーの最上部のストッパーは固定タイプとなっており時代があっていないものになります。
作動は完全ですが、フルオリジナルではありません。

ニットパーツはオリジナルで虫食いなどはありますが、状態のよいものです。

レザーはコンディション良好です。
右肩にステッチアウトしている箇所があります。
当店で修理が可能ですが、現状では着用に支障はありません。
AN-J-3Aは襟の後部のマーキングは「US」となります。
