Vintage King Seiko Cushion Case Ref. 5626-7010

The King Seiko "5626-7010" is an automatic watch that began production around 1968.

It features a cushion-shaped case—a design style popular from the late 1960s—and a "one-piece" case construction (where the case back is integrated with the main body) to enhance water resistance.

A gold KS medallion is affixed to the case back. It is powered by the "Cal. 5626A" movement, a high-beat caliber operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and includes day-date display, hacking (second-hand stop) functionality, and a quick-set feature.

Notable features include the substantial 38mm cushion case, compact dial indices, and day-date discs.

The dial is silver but has taken on a slightly grayish hue due to aging; while simple in design, it exudes a rich, vintage character.

It comes with a stainless steel bracelet. Although this is an aftermarket bracelet from the same era, it has a pleasant, supple feel. There are no issues with wearing it, and the clasp closes securely.

The bracelet fits a wrist size of 17.5cm perfectly.

The watch is currently running smoothly with no significant timekeeping deviation, so it is being sold in its current condition.
The day and date change functions operate without issues.

The gold medallion on the case back remains intact.



Vintage KINGSEIKO クッションケース Ref.5626-7010

キングセイコー「5626-7010」は、1968年頃から製造された自動巻時計

1960年代後半から時計デザインとして多く見られる、クッション型のケースと、防水性を高めたワンピースケース（裏蓋一体成型）を採用しています。

ケースバックには金色のKSメダリオンがついています。ムーブメント: 28,800振動/時のハイビート仕様「Cal.5626A」を搭載し、デイデイト（曜日・日付）表示やハック機能（秒針停止機能）、クイックチェンジを備えています。

大振りな38mmクッションケース、小ぶりな文字盤のインデックス、デイデイトディスク。

文字盤はシルバーですが、経年変化によって少しグレーがかっています。シンプルな文字盤ですが、深い風合いを醸し出しています。

ブレスレットはステンレススティールのブレスレットです。こちらは同時代の社外品ですが、適度な緩みがあって風合いのよいものです。装着に問題はございませんしバックルもしっかり閉じることができます。

ブレスレットの長さは腕回り17.5cmでジャストです。

現在快調に動作していて特に時間の誤差もございませんので現状での販売とさせて頂きます。
日付、曜日の切り替えも問題ありません。

ケースバックの金色のメダリオンも残っています。
