Vintage British-made work coat.
This type does not have leather or PVC reinforcement on the shoulders or sleeves. It's a type of work coat for laborers, often called a "donkey coat."

It was used by factory and dock workers, and in the 1960s, it was also popular among young people called Mods.

It's made of a synthetic blend wool, in a dark navy color, with large buttons and large patch pockets at the bottom. There is no lining. The simple construction, with raw edges on the collar and sleeves, is part of its charm.

The condition is good, but the top front button has been replaced, and the inner pocket is a homemade denim addition.

ヴィンテージ　イギリス製のワークコート。
肩の部分、袖の部分にレザーやPVCの補強の付いていないタイプです。いわゆるドンキーコートと呼ばれるタイプの労働者用の作業コート。

工場や港湾労働者などに使用され、1960年代にはモッズと呼ばれる若者にも愛用されたコートです。

化繊混合ウール、濃紺のカラー、大型のボタンで下部に大型のパッチポケット。ライニングはありません。襟の取り付け、袖の作りなど切りっぱなしの処理で簡易な作りが魅力です。


コンディションは綺麗な状態ですが、フロントトップボタンが交換され、内ポケットはデニムで自作されています。
