In the 1940s, pilots from the CBI Theater flew air combat and transport missions in the battles of the CBI Theater.

Many pilots wore so-called "blood chits" sewn into their flight suits to request rescue from locals in the event of an emergency landing.

Blood chits attached to the back are generally made of leather or silk. This real blood chit is made of leather and features the Stars and Stripes, the Kuomintang military mark, and handwritten Chinese text requesting rescue.
This genuine item was removed from the flight suit and stored.
There are traces of patches being removed, tears, and small holes, but it is definitely something you should keep as part of your collection.

1940年代　CBI戦域における戦闘で航空戦闘や輸送任務をおこなったCBI戦区のパイロット。

多くのパイロットが不時着時に現地人に救助を要請するためのいわゆる「ブラッドチット」を飛行服に縫い付け着用し出撃しました。

背面に取り付けられたブラッドチットはレザー製やシルク製が一般的です。この実物ブラッドチットはレザー製で、星条旗と国民党軍マーク、救助を要請する中国語が手書きで書かれたものです。

飛行服から取り外され、保管されていた実物です。
パッチ取り外しの痕、破れ、小穴がありますがコレクションとしてぜひ保存して頂きたいものです。
