A Swedish leather work jacket from around the 1930's-1940s. This is a vintage Swedish work leather jacket that we have been collecting for some time.

Many of these jackets are made of goatskin leather, but sheepskin and horsehide are sometimes used in old models like this.

This item is made of sheepskin leather with a wonderful texture.

This style of work leather jacket is thought to have been produced from the late 1930s until around the 1970s, with the leather changed to a similar shape. It is produced by quite a few manufacturers, and the famous ones are Sejson Malung and ANBRO MALUNG.

Looking at the labeling of many of these products, we can see that they were produced in Sweden. We previously received some items that appear to have been used by the Swedish Army. These items that appear to have been used for military purposes had the Swedish military mark engraved on the inside of the pocket or a manufacturer label indicating military use.

However, a product label that says military use cannot be used to determine whether it was a supply item. If the label is not for government supply, it may simply have been a military-style jacket with military letters in the product name.

On the other hand, there are also items with Swedish military markings stamped on the inside of the pocket flaps, but I have never seen an example of one issued for military use, which may mean that it was actually used as a jacket for civilians on loan or military personnel.

I am still researching the jacket itself, but I have bought over 50 leather jackets of the same type in the past, but they are made in Sweden. I have never seen a jacket labeled "Made in France".

This jacket is an old model, made of sheepskin leather. It has a brown color finish with color fading and a wonderful patina, but it is in good condition and can be worn.

The front is double-breasted, with buttons on the sleeves and a size adjuster belt on the back, which can be adjusted with buttons. There is a size adjuster on the back using a distinctive metal fitting. It is a part for adjusting the size by inserting it.

The lining is a brown moleskin-like fabric.
The embroidered label is triangular

1930年代から40年代ごろのスウェーデン製レザーワークジャケット。当店では以前より蒐集してきたスウェーデン製のヴィンテージワークレザージャケットです。

このジャケットはゴートスキンレザーのものが多いのですが、このような古いモデルではシープスキンやホースハイドが散見されます。
本品は素晴らしい風合いのシープスキンレザー製です。

このスタイルのワークレザージャケットは推定1930年代の末期から同じような形状でレザーを変更して、1970年代ごろまで製造されていたと思われます。かなり多くのメーカーで製造されており、有名なところではSejson Malung社、ANBRO MALUNG社製などがあります。

これら多くの製品のラベル表示をみると生産はスウェーデンであることが分かります。一部はスウェーデン陸軍において使用されていたと思われる個体も以前に入荷しました。この軍用に使用されたと思われる個体には、ポケット内部にスウェーデン軍のマークが刻印されていたり、軍用を意味するメーカーラベルが付いていたりしました。


しかし軍用と書かれた製品ラベルは、それをもって支給品と断定することはできません。官給品支給のラベルではない場合、ミリタリースタイルのジャケットとして製品の名称にミリタリーの文字が使われていたに過ぎにない可能性もあるためです。

一方でポケットフラップの内部にスタンピングされたスウェーデン軍のマーキングのあった個体も、軍用として支給された例は未見で、実際には民間出向者や軍属などが使用するジャケットして使われたことを意味するのかもしれません。

ジャケット自体はリサーチの途上ですが、過去に50着以上同型レザージャケットをバイイングしていますが、生産国はスウェーデンです。フランス製とラベル記載されたジャケットは未見です。


このジャケットは古い時代のモデルで、マテリアルはシープスキンレザーです。ブラウンカラーフィニッシュでカラーフェイドが起こっており素晴らしいパティーナが見られますが、着用には支障のないコンディションです。


フロントはダブル、袖にボタン、バックにサイズアジャスターベルトがボタンで調節できるようになっています。バックには特徴的な金属金具を用いたサイズアジャスターがあります。差し込み方式でサイズを調節するためのパーツです。

ライニングはブラウンカラーのモールスキンのような生地。
刺繍ラベルはトライアングル型
